You don’t have to go to a dinner to be served molten chocolate lava cake. This super smooth molten lava cake recipe is set to melt your tastebuds with it's chocolatey, gooey centre!
What a perfect dinner dessert!
Butter (for greasing the dishes)
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
120 grams dark chocolate chips
120 grams butter
120 grams caster sugar
2 egg yolks
120 grams plain flour
4 dark chocolate Lindors
- Preheat the oven to 200C / 180C fan. Generously butter the pudding dishes, and dirt the insides with cocoa powder. Put into the fridge even as you're making the filling.
- Melt the butter and chocolate in a pitcher bowl set over simmer in water (don’t permit the bowl touch the water beneath). Once absolutely melted, stir properly and take it off the warmth. Leave to cool for 5 mins.
- Use an electric hand whisk to overcome the sugar, eggs and egg yolks for round 5 mins, till light and fluffy. Sieve inside the flour and mix together, then add within the chocolate mixture and whisk till blended via. Divide among the dishes and press a chocolate Lindor into each one till it’s simply covered with the mixture - you don’t want the chocolate to touch the bottom of the tin or it is able to stick and lead them to difficult to show out. Cook for 13 minutes, then - cautiously loosen the rims with palette knife earlier than turning out onto a small plate. Dust with icing sugar, then serve and enjoy! 😊
